Andrew Schmidt has been dedicated to teaching the game of golf to all ages and skill levels for the past 18 years on the island of Kauai. He has been an Aloha Section PGA member since 2006. Andrew was recently awarded Aloha Section Assistant Professional of the Year for 2020 and the
Youth Player Development Award for 2021.
Individual Lessons:
- $125/hour for 1. +$25 for each additional person
- $500 for a package of (5) 1 hour lessons
- $325 for a 2 hour on course playing lesson. +$100 for each additional person

Makai Junior Golf League Fall Season 2026
Program Dates: September 14 – November 8
Program Length: 8 weeks
Class Size: Limited to 6 junior golfers per class
Program Fee: $425, including a junior golf hat
Choose the Right Class
FUNdamentals | Ages 5–8 Monday at 3:30PM
Focuses on basic golf skills, safety, etiquette, and developing the foundation needed to become comfortable on the golf course.
Learn to Play | Ages 9–12 Tuesday or Thursday at 3:30PM
Focuses on applying golf skills on the course, learning how to navigate different situations, and developing confidence through team-based play.
Play to Improve | Ages 12+ Friday at 3:30PM
Focuses on course management, scoring, strategy, and competitive play to help juniors take their game to the next level.
Our goal is to help each junior progress from learning the fundamentals → practicing → playing → competing.
