Renovation Overview

The Makai Golf Club at The St. Regis Princeville Resort recently under went an extensive renovation. The course's original architect Mr. Robert Trent Jones Jr. came back to over see the new addtions and designs to the Makai Course.

The Golf Course Construction Phase

Introduction of Seashore Paspalum to the teeing areas, fairways and greens
Reconfiguring the strategy of greens complexes
Bold reshaping of the bunkers and filled with G-3 Silica sand
Additional bunkers
Additional tee boxes
Upgraded practice facility
- Two new large practice tees and a practice fairway bunker
- Seven new target greens
- New expanded practice putting green
